1/2 cup long grain rice.
2 carrots peeled (medium or large).
3 cups water.
3 teaspoons of oil.
Grate a carrot with a grater, the other one slice out.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the grated carrot over medium heat for 4 minutes, you will see that the oil pigmented orange carrot will go, now add the rice and stir around with a spoon for 4 minutes.
Then add 3 cups of water and slices carrots, turn up the heat and let the rice we cook until it has absorbed enough water, do not touch while cooking. When you see that there is less water and you can see the rice grains, lower the heat to low and covers approx 8-10 minutes.
