300 ml of water.
150 gr of sugar.
One cinnamon stick.
Peel the apples, remove their hearts and chop. We put the apple in a pot with water, sugar and cinnamon stick.
We cover the pot and cook over low heat until apples darken slightly and they get tender, about 30 minutes. We must be alert during cooking if necessary add water.
Note: Compote can be served hot or cold.
