In Mambo we already know that fruit and vegetables are synonymous with: health, energy, strength and vitality... But also if it is combined with sport regularly, its importance is vital.

But... what fruits are good for doing exercise? When should we take them?

Before doing a short session (under 90 minutes) the consumption of banana, pineapple, grapes and orange juice/apple is recommended. They have a high glycemic index and will help you get the necessary energy quickly.

However before a long training session (after 2 hours) is preferable to eat a whole orange, apple, pear, watermelon, melon or kiwi. These, unlike the previous ones, have a low glycemic index, so it will give you more energy slowly and gradually and help to delay tiredness.

The fruit that accompanies better during training and after him, for recovery, are bananas, pineapple, grapes and orange juice and apple.
